Software MacKiev is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Product Manager to play a key role in the design, development and marketing of new and existing software products for consumer and educaiton markets worldwide. Product managers drive brand success through the high-level design of superior products and successful marketing in coordination with our headquarters office in Boston, Massachusetts to communicate the advantages of our products. If you would like to be involved in the business development of our famous western brands, and have the proven skills we need, we have projects waiting for you right now.
Responsibilities:
- Designing new and enhanced products using market research and competitive analysis
- Communicating with endusers via web forums, eNews mailings and beta testing
- Preparing direct marketing materials including direct mail, collateral sites, and reviewer kits
- Developing advertising, catalogs, packaging and trade show materials for your brand
- Writing product presentation scripts and travel to attend conferences to present your product line
- Creating and implementing the brand's consumer and education Web site presence
- Managing tech support communication for your brand, including direct customer contact if needed
- Providing business development support through news releases and third party Web site placements
- Drafting press releases, advertising copy, and text for email campaigns and brochures
- Providing a liaison to third party manufacturers for compatibility assurance and joint promotions
- Positioning products to compete for industry awards and monitor brand success metrics
- Monitoring product development progress and participating in release meetings
The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Experience in product or brand management
- Proven success in developing and prioritizing product requirements
- Ability to combine both data and intuition to create extraordinary products
- Affinity for working in a cross-functional team environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Fluent English
- Ability to learn quickly
- Familiarity with marketing and customer support
- Business or product development experience a plus
- An MBA or other business degree a plus
